Abinael Torres

Abinael Torres brings a well-rounded marine-industry background and a true passion for boating to IMS Yachts. Through his experience in marine mechanics, parts operations, customer service, and sales, he understands both the technical and business sides of the industry. As a graduate of the Marine Mechanics Institute (MMI) in Orlando, FL, he obtained specialized technical training working with leading marine manufacturers and systems. Abinael gained valuable hands-on experience as a Marine Mechanic with Brunswick in Florida, working within one of the most recognized companies in the boating industry after completing his education.

Upon returning to Puerto Rico, Abinael continued his professional development in the marine industry through roles in port operations, business development, and parts coordination. In addition, developing strong relationships with boat owners, captains, technicians, and marine professionals throughout the boating community. He continues to expand his education in Business Administration, combining his experience working in the marine industry with a growing knowledge of business, sales, and client relations.

In his role as a Yacht Broker at IMS Yachts, Abinael brings his technical background, industry experience, and business-focused approach to provide clients with knowledgeable, responsive, and personalized service. Whether he is representing a vessel for sale or assisting with the purchase of a yacht, he strives to make each transaction as simple, straightforward, and pleasant as possible. Boating is more than a profession to Abinael, it is a lifestyle and an industry he is passionate about. It is his goal to develop long-term relationships and serve clients throughout Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and beyond.
