Giomar Alvarez

Giomar Alvarez was born and raised in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. As of early age Giomar he was involved in sportfishing with his family. In 2011 at the age of 18 Giomar decided to leave the university and pursue the boating career as a marine technician. He graduated that same year from Marine Mechanics Institute in Orlando, Florida.

In 2012, he became a technician at Rimco Caterpillar in San Juan, Puerto Rico. There he travelled all over the Caribbean performing maintenance and overhauls for Caterpillar marine engines. Although he enjoyed his work he was looking to become more involved in the boating industry as a yacht salesman.

Later on, in 2019 he moved to Miami, but it wasn’t until early 2021 when he was given the opportunity to become a yacht broker. Working as yacht broker has become one of Giomar’s greatest success.

Thanks to his knowledge from early childhood, Giomar is able to understand his clients on what they are looking for when it comes to buying a yacht.
