Salvatore Curreri
Salvatore Curreri is a USCG-licensed Master Captain with a lifelong connection to the sea. Born in Palermo, Italy and raised in Puerto Rico, he began sailing at a young age and was already captaining small sailboats as a teenager — an early passion that grew into a full-time maritime career.
Based in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Salvatore first built his professional reputation in the sailing charter industry, gaining extensive hands-on experience aboard both monohulls and catamarans from leading brands such as Beneteau, Jeanneau, Hunter, Lagoon, Bali, Sea Runner, and others.
Over the past several years, he has focused heavily on yacht deliveries throughout the Caribbean, serving as captain on a wide range of vessels. He has specialized experience delivering Fountaine Pajot catamarans — both sail and power models — as well as Dufour sailing yachts, working closely with owners and companies to move vessels safely and efficiently between islands and international ports. These offshore passages have strengthened his navigation, passage planning, and vessel management skills across varying sea and weather conditions.
Salvatore also enjoys working directly with boat owners and has provided hands-on instruction to new clients learning to operate both powerboats and sailing vessels, helping them build confidence and seamanship on the water.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and brings over 20 years of experience in sales, management, and customer service. His background in business, combined with deep on-the-water experience, allows him to understand client needs, communicate clearly, and provide a professional, reliable, and enjoyable experience on every voyage.
Known for his calm presence at the helm and strong work ethic, Salvatore is committed to safety, professionalism, and making every passage run smoothly.
